The March for Babies is supported by the March of Dimes national organization. This event is devoted to building a brighter future for people across the country. March of Dimes raises money to expand programs and educate medical professionals to ensure moms and babies receive the best possible care. This march is designed to raise both funds and awareness.

What: Walk to Cure Arthritis
When: Sunday, May 20th at 9:00am
Where: Washington Park
The Walk to Cure Arthritis is the Foundation’s nationwide signature event of the year. It unites communities across the country to put an end to arthritis. The walk is designed to both raise funding for research and provide educational materials for those struggling with arthritis.
Who: Colorado Veterans Project
What: Memorial Day Run and March
When: Saturday, May 26th
Where: Douglas County Fairgrounds
This Memorial Day Run and March is presented by the Colorado Veterans Project. The event invites civilians, Veterans, and uniformed Military to challenge themselves in friendly competition while raising money and materials to feed homeless Veterans. The event features a 5k or 10k run and ruck march option as well as a 30k ruck march option. Participants are encouraged to bring non-perishable food to be donated.

Where: The Botanic Gardens at Chatfield Farms
The Lung Force Walk is presented by Channel 2 and the American Lung Association in Colorado. The walk is designed to raise awareness and funds to defeat lung cancer and provide resources for lunch health. Lung cancer is the #1 cancer killer of women, but anyone can get it. If you have lungs, get out and walk with this amazing group of people!
